Entrepreneurs with their own boutique, barbershop or coffee shop run into a lot of administrative and financial issues in these challenging times. That is why EMS is bringing the Clover to the Netherlands, the all-in-one payment system from America. With it, entrepreneurs not only have a smart cash register, they can also use various apps to automate their time registration, appointments and inventory management. FCB Amsterdam signed for the special introduction campaign.
To stand out in the business-to-business segment, FCB Amsterdam suggested developing a campaign that appeals to entrepreneurs' aspiration and ambition, but also sticks. Therefore, the agency looked for three examples of successful entrepreneurs who have one thing in common: They are smart in their own way!
They themselves have developed somewhat bizarre innovations to make their businesses more successful as well as more efficient. For example, a hairdresser has developed a drone that cuts a sleek haircut within 30 seconds, a boutique owner has turned her fitting rooms into a speed dating service, and a barista makes self-portraits of coffee grounds to get more followers. All are extraordinary innovations that are not just clever, they are groundbreaking discoveries. But what is really smart is their choice of Clover; the new All-in-One payment system.
The campaign launched in June of 2020 and will rolled out with online video, print in relevant trade magazines, social media campaigns and owned media from EMS. Production was completed even before the Corona crisis.
